DIVE TEAM VOLUNTEER

Description:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

United States Citizen, Naturalized Citizen, or completed Citizenship within the last year. At least 21 years of age. Be able to pass a thorough background investigation, oral interview, and medical exam. Must be a certified diver (PADI, NAUI etc.), with minimum of Rescue certification or equivalent. Must pass swim test and underwater skill assessment. Must be available for 24 hour call out. Must possess all personal SCUBA equipment.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

Training and/or experience in underwater and swift water Rescue & Recovery techniques. Experience in limited visibility diving. Law Enforcement/Public Safety diving background. Applicants will be interviewed by the Volunteer Coordinator.
